Windows ME

To change your Urban dialup access number and username in Windows ME use the following steps:

Step 1: Changing the dial-in access number

1. Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop
   
2. Double-click on Control Panel.
   
3. Open Dial up Networking
   
4. Right-click the Connection to Urban icon and select Properties
   

5. In the Phone number field, change the number to 0198379000.
6. Ensure 'Use Area Code and Dialing Properties' is unticked.
   
7. Click OK. You will be taken back to the Network Connections screen.

Step 2: Changing your username.

1. Open Internet Explorer, then click on tools then internet options
2. Click on the 'Connections' tab.
3. Select your Urban Internet Connection and click Settings
4. In the username change your username to username@urban.net.au (where username is your Urban username)
   
5. Click Ok and Ok again to complete the changes.

   You have now completed all of the neccessary changes, please disconnect and dial up using the new connection.
